Leah Johnson is a freshman at Houghton High School. Some of her hobbies include: reading, writing, dancing, and playing the baritone saxophone. While writing is something she hopes to pursue as a hobby in the future, she hopes to become either a nurse or a physiologist. Eve Noble is 13 years old and an 8th grader at Copper Country Christian School in Chassell. She enjoys crocheting, reading, writing, hanging out with friends, and participating in the local farmers market. Eve aspires to become a psychologist or a surgeon. Isla Peterson lives in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan with her parents and three cats. She enjoys drawing, reading, and hanging out with her friends. Isla is an eighth grader at JKL Bahweting Middle school, where her favorite subjects are Social Studies, and English Language Arts. Her story is titled Echo and her sponsoring teacher is Aaron Litzner.

Analise VerBerkmoes is an eighth grader at Copper Country Christian School. Analise enjoys many horse-related activities, snowboarding, basketball, reading, and writing. Currently she is training her own nine-year-old horse, Crimson. Analise’s short story title is Time Deprivation. Sponsoring teachers are Judy Chizek and Erica Blasiola.
